Ingrediënten

  • bread
  • fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • spring onion
  • garlic clove
  • tinned butter beans
  • lemon juice
  • plain flour
  • ground cumin
  • fine sea salt
  • medium egg

Bereidingswijze

  1. Place bread in mixing bowl and grind 5 sec/speed 7. Transfer to a large bowl and set aside.
  2. Place parsley, spring onion and garlic in mixing bowl then chop 3 sec/speed 7. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
  3. Add butterbeans, lemon juice, flour, cumin, salt and egg then blend 5 sec/speed 7. Transfer to bowl with breadcrumbs.
  4. Add feta to breadcrumb mixture and stir in with spatula. Tip out and and shape into 4 equal-sized patties. Place on a plate, cover with cling film and place in fridge for 1 hour. Towards the end of this time, light barbecue or preheat grill (220°C)
  5. Cook burgers on barbecue or under grill (220°C) until completely browned on one side (approx. 6-8 minutes). Carefully loosen from grill bars using a palette knife or spatula then flip over and cook other side until golden brown and cooked through. Serve in burger buns with coleslaw and chips if desired.
