Ingrediënten

  • large eggs
  • fine sea salt
  • ground black pepper
  • water
  • cherry tomatoes
  • fresh mozzarella
  • fresh basil leaves
  • balsamic glaze

Bereidingswijze

  1. Cut baking paper to fit Varoma tray (see tip). Scrunch baking paper into a ball under running water then squeeze out excess water. Insert Varoma tray, line Varoma tray with wet baking paper and set aside.
  2. Place eggs, salt and pepper in mixing bowl then mix 20 sec/speed 3.5. Transfer to prepared Varoma tray and set aside. Rinse mixing bowl.
  3. Place water in mixing bowl. Place Varoma into position. Distribute tomatoes and mozzarella over eggs then steam 15-17 min/Varoma/speed 2, until eggs are set. Meanwhile, preheat grill to 220°C.
  4. Carefully slide baking paper with cooked eggs onto a baking tray and grill for 3-5 minutes (220°C) until top of eggs are lightly browned. Serve hot or warm garnished with basil and balsamic glaze.
