Ingrediënten

  • quinoa
  • water
  • carrots
  • courgettes
  • chicken
  • chia seeds
  • fine sea salt
  • ground black pepper
  • olive oil
  • burger buns

Bereidingswijze

  1. Place quinoa and water in mixing bowl then cook 17 min/100°C//speed 1. Transfer to a bowl and set aside to cool.
  2. Place carrots and courgettes in mixing bowl then chop 10 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
  3. Add chicken and mince 15 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
  4. Add chia seeds, salt, pepper and reserved cooked quinoa then mix 15 sec//speed 5 until well combined. Tip out and shape into 8 equal-sized patties. Place on a plate, cover with reusable wrap or cling film and place in fridge for 15 minutes to firm up. Meanwhile, light barbecue or preheat grill to 220°C.
  5. Brush patties with oil and cook for 20-25 minutes (220°C), turning halfway through, until golden brown on each side and chicken is thoroughly cooked. Serve with burger buns, lettuce leaves and tomatoes.
