Ingrediënten
- Guinness®
- unsalted butter
- cocoa powder
- caster sugar
- plain flour
- sour cream
- medium eggs
- natural vanilla extract
- bicarbonate of soda
- cream cheese
Bereidingswijze
- Preheat oven to 160°C. Grease and line a round cake tin (Ø 20 cm) with baking paper.
- Place Guinness and butter in mixing bowl and heat 3 min/90°C/speed 2.
- Add cocoa powder and 320 g sugar then mix 10 sec/speed 4. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
- Add flour, sour cream, eggs, vanilla and bicarbonate of soda then mix 20 sec/speed 3. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula then mix again 10 sec/speed 3.
- Transfer cake batter to prepared cake tin and bake for 55-60 minutes (160°C) until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Leave to cool in tin for 10 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Clean and dry mixing bowl. Once cooled, make icing.
