Ingrediënten
- unsalted butter
- plain flour
- caster sugar
- milk
- baking powder
- large egg
- unsalted butter
- pitted dates
- light brown sugar
- ground cinnamon
Bereidingswijze
- Preheat oven to 190°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Place butter, flour, sugar, milk, baking powder and egg in mixing bowl then mix 20 sec/speed 3. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula then knead Dough /2 min.
- Place dates, sugar and cinnamon in mixing bowl then chop 4 sec/speed 5. Sprinkle mixture over buttered dough. Cut dough in half lengthways then roll each piece into a tight long log. Transfer to prepared tray.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes (190°C) until lightly golden. Leave to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Cut in slices and serve warm.
