Ingrediënten
- plain flour
- wholemeal flour
- fine sea salt
- bicarbonate of soda
- buttermilk
Bereidingswijze
- Preheat oven to 200°C and dust a baking tray with flour.
- Place plain flour, wholemeal flour, salt and bicarbonate of soda in mixing bowl then mix 5 sec/speed 5.
- Add buttermilk and mix 25 sec/speed 5.5. Working quickly, tip the sticky dough out onto a floured surface and bring together into a ball. Place on prepared tray.
- Dust loaf with flour then, with a floured, long, sharp knife, cut a cross in the top of dough approx. 3 cm deep. Bake for 25-35 minutes (200°C) until loaf sounds hollow when tapped underneath. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
