Ingrediënten
- basmati rice
- cardamom pods
- cloves
- cinnamon stick
- ground turmeric
- saffron threads
- oil
- garlic cloves
- water
- fine sea salt
Bereidingswijze
- Place oil and garlic in mixing bowl then chop 8 sec/speed 7. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula then sauté 3 min/120°C/speed 1. Tip out and add to reserved rice.
- Place water, ½ tsp turmeric and salt in mixing bowl. Insert simmering basket and steam 22 min/Varoma/speed 4. Remove simmering basket, set aside and keep warm. Discard water then clean and dry mixing bowl.
- Place onions and hazelnuts in mixing bowl then chop 5 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula then toast 5 min/120°C/speed 1. Serve the rice garnished with the onion and hazelnut mixture.
