Ingrediënten

  • fresh parsley leaves
  • water
  • olive oil
  • long grain rice
  • fine sea salt
  • medium eggs
  • smoked haddock
  • unsalted butter
  • cream
  • ground black pepper

Bereidingswijze

  1. Place parsley in mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 8. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
  2. Place water and oil in mixing bowl, then insert simmering basket. Weigh in rice then add ½ tsp salt. Place Varoma dish into position and place eggs into it. Insert Varoma tray then weigh haddock onto it. Cover Varoma and steam 20 min/Varoma/speed 3.
  3. Set Varoma aside. Transfer eggs to a bowl of cold water for 5 minutes to cool, then transfer haddock to a plate and set aside. Meanwhile, line Varoma dish with wet baking paper, leaving some holes in the Varoma uncovered so steam can circulate.
  4. Flake the haddock and scatter over the rice. Peel and quarter the eggs, then arrange on the rice. Place Varoma into position. Cover Varoma and steam 3 min/Varoma/speed 2 to warm through. Adjust seasoning to taste, scatter with remaining chopped parsley and serve immediately.
