Lamb Meatballs

These tender lamb meatballs are perfectly mixed and steamed in the Thermomix TM7. Combining aromatic spices with juicy lamb mince, the machine creates uniform meatballs that cook evenly in the Varoma, preserving moisture and flavour for a delicious main course.

Ingrediënten

  • garlic and herb breadcrumbs, homemade
  • lamb mince
  • water
  • fine sea salt
  • ground black pepper
  • onions
  • olive oil
  • ground cumin
  • ground coriander
  • tinned chopped tomatoes

Bereidingswijze

  1. Place breadcrumbs, lamb mince, 100-150 g water, 1 tsp salt and ½ tsp pepper in mixing bowl then mix 10 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula then mix again 5 sec/speed 4. Transfer to a bowl and set aside. Clean mixing bowl.
  2. Place onions, oil, cumin and coriander in mixing bowl then chop 5 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula then, with simmering basket in place of measuring cup, sauté 5 min/120°C/speed 1. Meanwhile, grease Varoma dish and tray. Shape meatballs (approx. 36 meatballs, Ø 4 cm) and divide between Varoma dish and Varoma tray. Insert Varoma tray, cover Varoma and set aside.
  3. Add tomatoes, remaining 100 g water, remaining ½ tsp salt and remaining ½ tsp pepper then place covered Varoma into position and cook 20 min/Varoma/speed 1. Check meatballs are cooked through then serve hot with the tomato sauce (see tip).
