Pogača (bread)

Ingrediënten
- milk
- unsalted butter
- dried instant yeast
- sugar
- plain flour
- sour cream
- vegetable oil
- large egg
- fine sea salt
- vegetable oil
Bereidingswijze
- Place milk in mixing bowl and heat 3 min/95°C/speed 4.
- Add butter then stir 10 sec/speed 3. Set mixing bowl aside to cool to 50°C.
- Add yeast and sugar then stir 1 min/speed 3. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
- Add flour, sour cream, oil, egg and salt, mix 20 sec/speed 3 then knead Dough /5 min. Transfer to a large greased bowl. Turn over dough to oil both sides then cover and leave to rise until doubled in size (approx. 1-2 hours). Towards the end of this time, preheat oven to 180°C.
- Knock back risen dough and place in a springform tin (Ø 25 cm, 7.5 cm deep) or form a 25 cm round and place on a lined baking sheet. Using a sharp knife, slash top of dough 3 times. Bake for 20 minutes (180°C), then cover with foil or baking paper and bake for a further 30-35 minutes (180°C) until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
