Ingrediënten

  • ghee
  • black mustard seeds
  • onions
  • garlic clove
  • ground turmeric
  • garam masala
  • ground cumin
  • ground coriander
  • fine sea salt
  • tinned chopped tomatoes

Bereidingswijze

  1. Place ghee and mustard seeds in mixing bowl then sauté 8 min/120°C/speed .
  2. Add onions and garlic then chop 5 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula then sauté 5 min/120°C/speed .
  3. Add turmeric, garam masala, cumin, ground coriander, salt, tomatoes and water then cook 8 min/95°C/speed .
  4. Add prawns and cook 5 min/95°C//speed . Serve sprinkled with chopped coriander leaves (if using), accompanied by dal or rice, or on puri for a prawn puri starter (see tip).
