Ingrediënten

  • fresh root ginger
  • garlic clove
  • fresh coriander
  • fresh red chilli
  • plum tomatoes
  • red wine vinegar
  • dark brown sugar
  • fresh salmon fillets
  • tenderstem broccoli
  • water

Bereidingswijze

  1. Place ginger, garlic, coriander, chilli, tomatoes, vinegar and sugar in mixing bowl then blend 5 sec/speed 9. Heat 7 min/120°C/speed 1.
  2. Cut 4 pieces of baking paper (approx. 20 cm x 25 cm) and place a salmon fillet on each. Pour prepared glaze over each fillet and bring paper edges together to create a parcel. Place parcels in Varoma dish, leaving holes free for steam to circulate. Insert Varoma tray and place broccoli onto it then cover Varoma and set aside.
  3. Place water in mixing bowl. Insert simmering basket, weigh rice into it and rinse 10 sec/speed 5. Steam 15 min/Varoma/speed 2.
  4. Place covered Varoma into position above rice and steam above rice 8 min/Varoma/speed 2. Serve salmon garnished with thin slices of red chilli and spring onion accompanied by the rice and broccoli.
