Ingrediënten

  • sushi rice
  • water
  • oil
  • crème fraîche
  • wasabi paste
  • lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • honey
  • fine sea salt
  • ground white pepper
  • salmon fillet, fresh, skinless

Bereidingswijze

  1. Place simmering basket on mixing bowl lid and weigh rice into it. Rinse rice in simmering basket under running water until water runs clear. Place washed rice in mixing bowl, add water and start Rice Cooker . Leave to rest for 10 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and set aside to cool slightly. Clean and dry mixing bowl.
  2. Heat waffle maker, brush with oil, then place ¼ prepared sushi rice into it. Cook for approx. 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove rice waffles and leave to cool on a wire rack. Repeat with remaining 3 portions rice. Meanwhile, continue with recipe.
  3. Place crème fraîche, wasabi paste, lime juice, honey, salt and pepper then mix 20 sec/speed 5. Transfer sauce to a bowl and set aside.
